Bontebok National Park is a species-specific nature reserve. It was originally established to ensure the protection of the Bontebok. This park is the smallest of South Africa’s 20 National Parks.
The park is part of the Cape Floristic Region, which is a World Heritage Site. It is located 6 km south of Swellendam, in the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains.
