Toyota Hilux HilCAM 4 Sleeper 4x4 Camper Rental Details
The HilCAM is a 4-sleeper Toyota Hilux double cab 4×4 camper that sleeps two in the rooftop tent and two in the cabin, with a camp shower, camp toilet and camp basin, so you’re not tied to campsites with facilities.
Camp goes up in minutes, and there’s no ground tent to pitch. An awning gives shade over the kitchen area, and a dual battery system with 12V power keeps the 40-litre fridge/freezer running without shore power.
The 150-litre fuel tank and 60-litre fresh water tank cover long stretches between towns, and a 14kg gas bottle lasts for weeks of cooking. It’s economical too, at around 9.2 litres per 100 km, the best figure in our 4-sleeper range.
A second spare tyre, puncture repair kit, tool kit and spade are included, so you’re equipped for gravel roads far from the nearest town.
